Advice requested

In 2014 I bought a couple of bitcoins. I put them away in cold storage using paper wallets, each with 0.1 btc. Once in a while I check their public address with an app specifically for paper wallets (iOS paper check). So far they’re still there. Is it still safe to keep them there? For how much longer? I intend to hold for another 5-10 years. Thanks in advance for anyone’s response.

Just moved everything to cold storage

Feels good. Had over a coin on block fi and Gemini custody. Just couldn’t shake the feeling of it disappearing due to some unknown including a government confiscation. Considering we are probably in attack phase before acceptance best to hide in the shadows. I will say though moving off block fi was incredibly easily. Didn’t think it would be. And I will say I don’t think I could live with my self losing btc especially as the price goes up.
