If Binance or Coinbase were breached which resulted in phishing, everyone would criticize them yet Electrum let that happen, and we are ok with it.

Maybe opensource software built by free developers isn't as good a company holding your bitcoin sometimes

Feels good. Had over a coin on block fi and Gemini custody. Just couldn’t shake the feeling of it disappearing due to some unknown including a government confiscation. Considering we are probably in attack phase before acceptance best to hide in the shadows. I will say though moving off block fi was incredibly easily. Didn’t think it would be. And I will say I don’t think I could live with my self losing btc especially as the price goes up.
