How do I own my bitcoin? I’m new and buying a little here and there. I want to know about “not your keys, not your btc.” Before I make a big purchase on Coinbase. Thanks

Just moved everything to cold storage

Feels good. Had over a coin on block fi and Gemini custody. Just couldn’t shake the feeling of it disappearing due to some unknown including a government confiscation. Considering we are probably in attack phase before acceptance best to hide in the shadows. I will say though moving off block fi was incredibly easily. Didn’t think it would be. And I will say I don’t think I could live with my self losing btc especially as the price goes up.
