Legit anonymous exchanges?

I'd like to exchange [random crap coin] to [BTC] without going through the whole sign-up and verification process of regular exchanges. (e.g. like shapeshift used to allow when it was first launched.)

There are many results for this type of thing in Google, but having never heard of any of them, it's easy to imagine that they're all scams, that will take a deposit of random crap coin, but then never send the BTC.

Any legit recommendations?

Feels good. Had over a coin on block fi and Gemini custody. Just couldn’t shake the feeling of it disappearing due to some unknown including a government confiscation. Considering we are probably in attack phase before acceptance best to hide in the shadows. I will say though moving off block fi was incredibly easily. Didn’t think it would be. And I will say I don’t think I could live with my self losing btc especially as the price goes up.
